This will be a first for the Trust and Trustees that will provide and facilitate a means of Best & Good Practice in communication. Purpose of this blog site is to learn and embrace viewpoints and commentary without prejudice of subjects and topics ranging from Governance to Operations. To begin the trust has begun discussion to develop and ratify a Strategic Management Plan (SMP). They have also agreed to think about what a Strategic Management Plan (SMP) will include and look like over the summer season of 2010/11 in preparation to come together and start the process in April 2011.
Any SMP must include foundations to build on like land development and people management as these will directly affect values of cultural, heritage and environmental values. Underpinning these values is the approach to include intrinsic and spiritual values. From a pragmatic view financial and business management will provide the tools for the future and the management to align with sustainable outcomes.
How do we start – simply action planning there are a number of techniques available nowadays and the key is to keep it SIMPLE.
